MK4/B5/B5.5 Golf/Jetta/Passat/NB steering wheel harnesses for MK5, MK6, or MK7 steering wheels into cars that originally had a normal 3 or 4 spoke wheel WITHOUT cruise/audio controls. This enables use of the airbag and horn on the newer wheel in a plug and play solution. This will not enable use of the cruise and audio buttons on those respective wheels.
If you car originally had a wheel with cruise and radio buttons, please purchase the other listed version of the harness that are listed for MFSW Cars. The MFSW adapter harness will include a jumper wire to bridge pins 9 and 18 on the original MFSW relay (labeled 451/452 in dash) to enable the horn to work correctly.
Remove battery terminals before touching the airbag system. We are not liable for any damage to car or persons. Additionally, if any part of the airbag system is disconnected before removing battery power, a stored fault code will be triggered and scan tool is required to clear it.
