MK4 ASR/ESP Auto Defeat Switch. Has 3 programmable modes, memory mode (on next ignition cycle, switch will automatically turn off or on ASR/ESP depending on what state it was in when ignition was turned off), auto off (will deactivate ASR/ESP on ignition every time even if it was manually turned back on during that drive cycle), factory mode (will default back to factory setting where ASR/ESP is enabled at every ignition). 100% plug and plug and 100% reversible. No wiring or modifications needed whatsoever, can be overridden at any time by simply pressing the switch like normal.

To program:
Press switch 3 times within 3 seconds. Amber LED in switch will then flash once showing it's in programming mode. Ignore the gauge cluster amber indicator at this time.
-Press switch 2 times again to enter memory mode. LED in switch will flash once. Turn off ignition to save setting.
or
-Press switch 3 times again to enter auto off mode. LED in switch will flash once. Turn off ignition to save setting.
or
-Press switch 4 times again to enter factory mode. LED in switch will flash once. Turn off ignition to save setting.
