MK4/B5/B5.5 HomeLink Sun Visor Adapters for Golf/Jetta/Passat. These will allow for install of the B5/B5.5 GLS/GLX/W8 trim HomeLink sun visors garage/gate openers into MK4’s and lower trim level Passats. The adapter comes in 2 varieties:
-2 to 3 pin adapter for cars with incandescent bulbs in the mirror vanity light housing. This will have the HomeLink constantly powered on so it can be used without having to turn the ignition on.
-Adapter with separate power lead for cars with LED bulbs installed in the mirror vanity light housing or for those who wish to run a separate power feed so the HomeLink can only be used if key is turned on (helpful if parking outside with windows down and don’t want someone to reach in and open your garage door).
