Replacement alternator to fuse box on top of battery cable. Common issue on MKIVs which can lead to melted fuse boxes and charging/running problems. These cables are offered in 3 different sizes depending on preference and budget.
Stock: No frills stock replacement 4AWG cable similar to what the car left the factory with. Can be run through the current sleeving to keep the original appearance.
4AWG: Extremely flexible high strand count OFC 4AWG cable with all terminals dip soldered for added connection reliability and corrosion resistance. Cable is then covered in black braided sleeving.
2AWG: Larger than stock pure copper 2AWG cable with all terminals dip soldered for added connection reliability and corrosion resistance. Cable is then covered in red/black braided sleeving.
All versions come with new nut for fuse box stud. 2AWG version may require trimming of the slot on some fuse boxes so the lid closes. If your current fuse box is already melted it must be replaced before the new cable is installed.

Original A/C clutch and alternator warning lights wires are retained. Just cut out and remove current alternator cable.
